I think Tetris is a more minimal approach to game making, and more abstract, since it doesn't rely on the representational elements of story telling and characters, but Tetris can be very engaging and can leave lots of room for open interpretation. It most certainly is art, it just isn't as difficult a work as fallout is.

Re: Patch Details

I've heard a few reports of this bug but we were never able to reproduce this issue. Between this. It's about as funny as the documentary he once did on Wine and that's saying a lot. It's good to know you guys are taking fan feedback into account and look forward to seeing where this will take Party of Sin in the future.

Re: Project Management System Review

Hey Amir,

I remember reading about a system that does exactly that, but it was in a comment on TechCrunch and I can't remember what it was called. It was a program that would automatically tell you what to do based on your constraints. Google isn't turning up anything, sorry!

Re: Project Management System Review

Thanks for the article, Dan. I've recently dug through a ton of PM systems, but for a different reason. I have multiple projects I'm balancing, all of which I have to put a little bit of time in per week for various tasks. I'm having the hardest time finding a PM system that can fill the time gaps in my calendar with the tasks I need to do. Essentially, an auto-scheduler. For example, say I have 10 tasks w/ estimates related to a deadline. I have commitments in my calendar already for business meetings, lunches, etc. What I'd like to know with ease is will all the actual work scheduled get done this week based on the available time I have? If not, then how much more do I need to plan to work based on my estimates. Does that resonate with you or anyone else?

Re: The Mind-Changing Effect of Alternate Reality Technology

Here's an example of environmental editing choices in new media:
http://witcher.wikia.com/wi...

One of the last bosses in The Witcher, the Zeugl grows out of human waste. The story of Henko shows that you guys have good heads on your shoulders and I'm certain that it will come through in a tight, fun game. If you really enjoyed those Choose-your-own-adventure books you'll get a kick out of this book and the others KQ has produced:

http://www.koboldquarterly....
I also cannot recommend highly enough the Game (and Board Game) Design books sold on this site as well (though not the e-book versions; crappy layout). With what I saw of the video of Henko, I know its not my kind of game, but I'm sure you guys would make a killing with it as a smart-phone, facebook, or even a bar/casino game.

Re: About the Developers

gotta save the leader of the arch angels for sequels........ :P

Re: About the Developers

there are 7 arch angels including michael and gabriel..... michael is suposed to be the leader out of them... thats why they asked.
